The assessment of the lines of the O
R & N railroad in Walla Walla coun
ty was yesterday raised by the county
commissioners sitting as a board of
rqualization, from 7,500 per mile to
110,000 per mile, and tbe assessment
of tbe W4CR lines was reduoed
from 17,500 to $5,800 per mile. Tbe
request of tbe Northern Paciflo for a
reduction from its assessment of $7,500
wss rej scted.and will remain at that
figure.
