A SAW MILL
Frank Page, an employee at Fisber
fc Chandlers saw mill near Elgin, was
struck by a piece ol a broken wheel
laat Saturday, and so seriously injured
Ibat he died within a few hours there
after. The dying iron struck him ia
the side, taking with it a part of his
liver. The deceased was about forty
five years of age, and leaver a wife
nd two children. The funeral took
place yesterday .
Funston Pays Fine

Iola Kanas July 19 K H Funston,
former Congressman and father of Gen
eral Frederiok Funston, was today
found guilty of disturbing lbs peace
by carrying concealed weapons. He
was fined five dollars on aaeb eharge
together with the costs of the suit.
Judge Adair in rendering bisverdiot
laid that, while he esteemed Mr Fun
ston, there was no doubt of hie guilt.
Mr Funston will appeal both ol the
cases.
