The WOTU held their ragnlar
meeting at the Baptist church Thurs
day afternoon, and it wat a very lively
and interesting one. Eleven new mem
bers were enrolled after the ordinary
business bad been trantaoted. When
all the business before 'the assembly
bad been completed, all present were
treated to ioe cream and cake. The
next regular meeting will take place

A special train will leave here at
ten thirty tomorrowin to take
the La Grande ball team and the
oumerous visitors to Elgin, where our
home team will orosa bats with the
Elgin team.; Great preparations have
been mad by the Elgin team, and
