wrecking ot a gasoline launoh yeiter
day while going to the deep sea fishing
grounds off the month ot the Coquille
river. " ' . '
As the launch was croaslng the Co-
qullle bar heavy seas apparently dia
abled the engine and oarried the trail
craft on the rooks of the south Jetty.
The Ufesavin crew endeavored to
reach the unfortunates, bat before
they could get to the place, the launch
had been ground to p'eees and Caetel
lo beaten to death on the rocks. Har
ris' body was not found.
