which advised that the city prooeed to
declare the - bond of J L Cbrlatisn
forfeited a ft result of hia being con
victed In the ciroolt eoart for giving a
minor liquor. Also advising the city
to enforce the ordinance requiring prop
erty owners to remove all obstruct
ions over side walk. Also to take
up the matter of preparing ordinances
aaUctent to compel property owners to
comply with the cement walk ordi
nance. The mayor's message appeals

rather, asked for sixty day option on
proposition to refund the present
bonded debt of the oity which amounts
to 30,000 bearing six per cent Interest
to five per cent bond This was re

mercial Club' suggestion for an in
creased number of street lights and

did, tbeir action might complicate tbe
legality of the passage ol oidinanoe.
