"RHEUMATISM FROM
DIRECT PRESSURE
There are fieqoent cases, too, in
which supposed rhenmatism la dna to
the same aort of direct pressure on
nerves that ia the chief canaa of sciatl
ca . When an arm and shoulder are
keenly painful and practically useless,
for Instance, it is often found that the
ola viola, or collar-bone, ia pressing on
a great nerve With the removal of
the pressure by Osteopathic manipala
tlon oomee, not only complete relief,
bat permanent care. Instances of
oares of this kind are very numerous
indeed, in fsot common occurrenuea.
It Is certainly worth while to learn if
yoa are suffering from mechanical
pretsure on nerves; for it that la the
ease it Is quite evident that there oan
be no cure until that pressure is re
moved. '
