ports that wheainner time comes at
the Ruckman farm it looks a if the
Russian army ws making a cavalry
charge npon the farmhouse, as forty
horses are brought from the fields to
be watered and fed. Fort
horses on one farm is a sample of how
the Grande Ronde valley farmer does
business.

jury for subornation of perjury in eon
section with the land frauds to South
ern Oregon, today changed his plea of
not guilty to guilty. Sentence Is sus

the proprietor of the Arcade saloon

justice of the peace J K Hough on two
charger, one of giving liquor to minors

held in the sum of three hundred
dollars on each charge. The minors
referred to. are said to be two vonncr
girls who went Into .the saloon at his
solicitation and took a drink of beer.
