How I Came to be an
Osteopath

Ooe of my early cases of flux was a
little boy of about four summers. In
Macon, Missouri. He was trudging
along the dasty road with his desti
tute mother. I placed my hand on tbe
baok of the little fellow la the region
of tbe lumbar, wbioh waa very warm
even not, while the abdomen waa cold.
I thought it strange that the baok was
so hot and the abdomen so oold; that
the neck and baok of his head were
very warm while tbe face, nose and
forehead were odd. I began to reason.
Ia all my life I had never asked my
