torium are being laid out In flower
hwla. and various kinda of beautiful
plants and flowers are being pat in,
whieb will add much to the appear
ance of the place.
Tbe new $70,000 addition to the
Sanatorium will be completed by the
early part of. next year, and .work
thareon will be in progresa in a abort
time. This new addition will have
many new modern rooms, and tbere
will be a regular hospital in connec
tion for surgical operations, and seve
ral skilled trained nurses will be em
ployed . This hospital will be a bene
fit to the country at large
New System Ready
Patrons of tbe telephone system will
no longer be obliged to twist the han
dle when tbey wish to call no Central.
Just tike the receiver down and wait
for Central to call number. The rye
tem waa changed last night, the
old board done away witb and the linea
out over on to the new awitoh board .
The new phones will be plaoed in po
sition in a few days, and then tbe new
eystem will be installed complete. The
patrons should bear in mind that the
entire system ia different from tbe old
one, and that the girls in charge must
praotically learn their trade over
again, and therefore the publio should
not be too extoting for a few days.
Manager Oslnrn states that it will
only be a few diya before the entire
system will be in first class working
order and the new phones in position.
