arriving from Skagway, state that tha
worst blizzard aver known has swept
over the upper Yukon, Lanana and
Copper River valleys. Tha miners
and prospectors are said to ba suffer
ing untold hardships, and it Is feared
that many will die of cold and star
ration. Tha snow has fallen in many
places orer twenty feet and all trails
are impassible. A party from Fair
banks to Valdesa is supposed to have
been lost, and another party from
Fairbanks to Dawson is despaired of.
