U Sheriff Huntington has just returned from Kelso, where he had been investigating the Kelley kidnapping case He states that in his opinion the whole thing was a put up job on the part of Kelley and that he did the work himself and bis motive was to make people be lieve he bad been robbed. Kelley bad set the time for his wed ding and did not have sufficient money to carry out his arrangements. Tbe robbery pretense was lor an excuse. Tbe wire with which he was bonnd was cut from tbe clothieline In use at the home of Mrs Calvin, where Kelley roomed, and his bands were so loosely bound that not a mark was made on tbe wristB. - Sheriff Huntington discovered that when Kelley was released by Sid Jones be walked into town so fast that be arrived ahead of Jones.
