Notice Is hereby given that at tbe
regular meeting of the Council of the
City of La Grande, Oregou, held on
the 6th day of July A D, 1901, O Street
in tbe City of La uranda, Oregou was
ordered improved by tbe conatrnction
of a seven (7) foot side-walk along the
aontb side of O street between Fourth
and Cedar 8treeta, said side-walk to be
constructed by tbe abbuttinz property
owenera on or befoiethe 71 h day of
September A D 1904 and to be oou
atructed as follows, to wit : The top
of the walk shall consist of plank, one
and one half inches by eight laches, of
pine wood, seven feet long.
Tbe top of the walk shall
be supported by not less tban four
stringers of tamarack or fir wood an J
shall not be leaa than two iuohea by el
