The roses are not yet flourishing but
romance is in bloom at the Oregon Gar-
den Resort for Valentine’s Day.
The pet-friendly, garden-themed
resort has a number of options for
sweethearts over Valentine’s weekend.
For those wanting the full experi-
ence, two options are available Friday
through Tuesday, Feb. 10-14. With the
Dinner & Movie Romance Package, a
couple can enjoy a bottle of champagne
or house wine over a shared appetizer,
dinner for two and dessert `a deux in
the Garden View Restaurant. After
dinner, there will be a theater-style
screening of “When Harry Met Sally,”
complete with popcorn. Begin the next
day with a breakfast buffet before
enjoying a stroll through the 80-acre
garden. All guest rooms include fire-
places and private patios. Packages
start at $199.
The Valentine’s Day Spa Package
includes all of the above plus a 50-min-
ute couple’s massage in the onsite
Moonstone Spa. Packages start at $349.

simple? The three-course dinners and
film showings are available separately

The Resort’s Garden View Restau-
rant is taking reservations for the spe-
cial three-course prix fixe Valentine’s
Day menu ($75 a person). Various op-
tions are available for each course to
accommodate dietary restrictions. The
regular `a la carte menu will also be
available. Reservations can be made at
oregongardenresort.com/dining.
In addition, the Resort is selling a
limited number of tickets to the nightly
showings of “When Harry Met Sally.”
Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and the show
begins at 9 p.m.. Tickets are $5 per
person, including popcorn, and must be
purchased in advance. Navigate to the
