Special summer sunsets
at The Oregon Garden

For the third year, The Oregon Gar-
den will be holding Sunsets in the Gar-
den, an after-hours event series on
Wednesday evenings from Aug. 3 to
Sept. 7. Sunsets in the Garden features
complimentary tastings from local
wineries and breweries, live music,
tram tours and yoga.
“Visitors love being able to experi-
ence the garden at a time of day that we
are not usually open to the public,”
regional marketing manager Sara
Hammond said. “It is a truly unique
experience to get to enjoy Oregon’s
beautiful sunsets while sipping on deli-
cious regional beer and wine in the
amazing garden.”
As an extension of Oregon Garden
hours, general admission prices apply:
$12 for adults 18 and older, $10 for sen-
iors (60+), $9 for students (12-17), $6 for
kids (5-11), and free for children under
4 and Oregon Garden members. Well-
behaved pets on a leash are also wel-
come. Additional food and beverages
may be purchased, cash only.
Events run from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 3,
10 and 17; and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 24,
31 and Sept. 7.

eries/breweries include Gabriel Cox
and Elysian Brewing (Aug. 3), WJ
McEachern and Silver Falls Brewery
(Aug. 10), Andrew Morgan and Left
Coast Cellars (Aug. 17), Val Blaha and
sparkling mead tasting by Stung Fer-
mented (Aug. 24), Emilio Shivers and
Ecliptic Brewing (Aug. 31), and Mike
Prigodich with Four Graces Winery
