Lynne
Jordan, 69,
passed
away unexpectedly on
March 5. She grew up in
the Silverton hills, gradu-
ating from Silverton High
School in 1964.
Lynne was married to
the love of her life, Jerry
Jordan, who was taken
from her too soon in a
tragic car accident in
1983. Lynne spent most of
her life as a homemaker
and home daycare provid-
er while enjoying baking,
sewing, gardening and
bowling.
After Jerry’s death,
she began working at
Montgomery Ward and
continued to do so until
they closed their doors in
2001. After that, she went
back to home daycare,
where she welcomed
many children into her
home where she was al-
ways considered “Gma”
to all (especially Jessi
Rae). Up until the week of
her death, Lynne enjoyed
working in her yard and
garden and, of course,
spending time with fam-
ily.
She is survived by her
son Michael; daughter
Leanne; grandson Kyle
(Auriel); granddaughters
Amanda and Courtney;
and great-grandchildren
Westen and Meadow.
Linda’s funeral service
was held Saturday, March
12 at Unger Funeral Cha-
pel in Silverton.
Internment took place
at Belcrest Memorial
Park in Salem.
