Due proclamation being made, the
following proceedings were had:
Matter of construction of bridge
across Lindgren Creek; bridge across
small creek on Melis place, and ap
proach to combination bridge across
the Nehalem river at Mist,
Road District No 13.
Nov. 5, 1912, for and against the
prohibition of the sale of intoxi
cating liquors for beverage purposes
in Scappoose Precinct, Columbia
County, Oregon, made by the County
Clerk for the information of the
Court.
And it appearing to the Court
from said certified abstract that the
total number of votes in said Scap-
all inipoose Precinct for Prohibition were
85, and that the total number of

from said special fund.

that the Clerk be, and he is hereby
authorized and instructed to issue a
General Road Fund Warrant in the
8um of $1284.05 in favor of the said
W. F. Halderman.

Dahigren:
j On this day C. O. Dahigren sub
mits his Abstract of Title to the
Court, and presents his duly executed
deed, conveying to Columbia County
a certain piece of ground in Road
District No 2, and the Court being
advised in the premises, it isordeied
J by the Court that said deed be and
the same is hereby approved.
It is further ordered by the Court
that the Clerk be, and he is hereby
authorized and instructed to record
said deed, and to issue a General
Road Fund Warrant in the sum of
$C45.00 in favor of said C. 0. Dahi
gren, and to charge one-half of said
sum to the account of said Road
District No. 2.
Matter of report of J. B. Wilker
son on expense of Co. Institute:
On this day J. B. Wilkerson,
Ctitintv Sunerintendent of Schools.

expense incurred for the County
Teachers Institute recently held at
Clatakanie, showing receipted oills in
the gum of $150.00. .And the Court
being advised in the matter, it is
ordered by the Court that said ac
count be and the sarr.e is hereby ap
proved.
Matter of payment to F. M. Ben
dure, account slashing on poor farm
On this day it is ordered by the
Court that the Clerk be and he is
hereby authorized and instructed to
issue a General Fund Warrant in the
sum of $25.00 in favor of F. M.
Bendure, on account of slashing on
poor farm, leaving an unpaid balance
in the Sum of $25.00. on account of
un-burned portion of said slashing.
Matter of Scalp Bounty Claims:
On this day the Clerk presented to
the Court the Verified Scalp Bounty
aims of Fred Floeter, being claim
No. 48, for $14.00 for seven wild
cats, and of Walter Parker, claim!
No. 49 for $8.00, for four wild cats,
and the court being advised in the
matter, it is ordered by the Court
that said claims be, and the same are
hereby approved.
In the matter of considering the
returns of the Local Option Liquor
Election for the Scappoose Precinct,
held Nov. 5, 1&12, and declaring the
ICiuJt of laid election.
Halderman vtes in said Scappoose Precinct
against Prohibition were 109.
It is therefor ordered by the Court
that the majority of votes cast on
the Local Option Liquor Election for
Scappoose Precinct were against
Prohibition.
Matter of Transfer of Funds:
On this day it is ordered by the
Court that the Treasurer be, and he
is hereby instructed to transfer the
sum of $51.75 from the General
County Fund to the Special Road
Fund of Road Dist. No. 1, on ac
count of General Supervising claim
following proceedings were had:
