The St. Helens Improvement
Co.. has prepared a large paint
ing of St. Helens and vicinity
which is in the show window at
Aluckle's store. It shows all the
holdings of the St. Helens Lum
ber Co., and the other manufact
uring industries of the city and
community. The country sur
rounding St. Helens is shown
with all creeks, rivers, roads and
railroads. It is a work of art and
well worth the time of any per

At the examinations held last
week for those who were condi
tionally passed at the regular
Eighth Grade examinations, the
entire class of the St. Helens
School was successful. The list
of those passing at this time is:
Charle smith, Edward Veasie,
Inez Barber, C.oldie Hattan. Kath
crine Moriarity and Fay Lynch.
These six together with the seven
who passed at the regular tests
make 13, the entire class, passing
on into the High School.
