therein personal property, appraised in

goo, was duly appointed administrator
of tbe estate of tbe said Patrick Hugi es,
deceased, and duly qualified aa such ad
ministrator on or about the 9th day of
July, 1908, and letters of admii.istri.tion
were duly issued to him by order of the
County Court, of said Columbia County,
Oregon, on said date, ar.d thereupon he
proceeded to take possession of said per
sonal property of said estate and to ad
minister thereon in pursuance of the
authority vested in him by law and
said letters of administration; that said
administrator has paid all lawful cUims
and demands of every kind aad nature
whatsoever existing against said estnte,
including the cos's and expenses of ad
ministration, and baa fully administered
said estate and rendered his final ac
count to tbe srtid County Court, which
final account showed that he ba.l con
verted into cash all of said penonai
property which was not money, and
that there remains a residue in bit hsnds
after paying all claims against said es
tate, of $10036 32 and no other property
of any kind whatsoever; and thereupon
the said County Court, of Ooln-i.bia
County, Oregon, made a final order ap
proving said final leportof said admin
istrator and closing said estate, and di
recting that tlt administrator bold said
cash until disposition thereof should be
made by a competent court, and that
said administrator still ha in Ms pos
session the said sum of $ 10036 32, which
constitutes all of tbe property rema n-
ing and belonging to the said estate of
Patrick Hughes, deceased.
That said administrator has made due
inquiry for heirs of said Pairick Hnghes.

wise and no person or person have
been found who are or claim to be
heirs of said decedent, and plaintiff al
