Ernest Specht
Ernest Specht. a dairyman on
Sauvies Island died at his home
last Saturday after an extended
illness. He wa9 suffering from
Tuberculosis of the stomach and
had been In the hospital at Port
land for some time and was taken
for trips to Eastern Oregon
and other points but no relief was
insight, so he returned to his
home only last Friday and died
the next day. Mr. Specht was
born in Iowa 41 years ago and has
lived at Woodland Wash, most of
his life, coming to St. Helens
about three years ago. He leaves
a widow and three children, be
sides three brothers and an aged
father. Funeral services were
held at Woodland on Monday
r.-.d burial was had at that place.
