need for more poultry men in the
Pacific Northwest. H. Ueckwith,
President of the Portland Com
mercial Club, has compiled offi
cial statistics showing that 1204
carloads of eggs were shipped
into Portland during 1911. from
states east of the Kocky Moun
tains. From the same territory
came' 20 carloads of dressed
poultry. Theso products, he
points out, should all be Rroy
at home.
