1911, it is ordered by the Court that
John Anderson be notified to appear
on or before the January Term of
county Court, and show cause, if
any exist, why monthly aid as now
allowed should not be discontinued.
Whereupon, court adjourned un
til Dec. 8, 1911.
x Friday Dec. 8, 1911, 5th judicial
day court came pursuant to adjourn
ment. Officers all present, due pro
clamation being made, the following
proceedings were had.
Matter of appointing deputy road
supervisor for dist. No. 8,
On this day it appearing to the
Court that Ira Parcher the supervi
ser of road distaict no. 8, is confined
in a Portland Hospital, on account
of illness. It is ordered by the court
that D C Kirby. be and he is hereby
appointed deputy road supervisor,
to act in case of inability of supervi
sor. It is further ordered by the court
that said D C Kirby shal qualify
in the manner prescribed by law,
before assuming the duties of his
office.
Matter of scalp bounty claims:-
On this day the clerk presents to
the court the verified claim of
Nathan Hiatt, being claill no. 25 for
$8.00 for four wild cats, and the
court being advised in the matter
it is ordered by the court that said
claim be, and the same is hereby ap
proved. Matter of petition of Mary Jutila,
for aid.
On this day the written appli
cation of Mary Jutila, for aid from
the Couuty, comes on for consider
ation, and the Court being advised
m the matter, it is ordered by the
court that said petition be, and the
the same is hereby denied.
Matter of report of Sheriff of peti
tion collection on 1910 tax rolls.
On this day the Sheriff submits
his report of the collections and
amount of delinquent taxes on 1910
tax rolls as follows:
Total amount of rolls with penalty
and interest $265,143.19
Total amount of collections rebates
Matter of remissions, errors and etc,
on 1910 tax rolls, reported by
Sheriff.
On this day the Sheriff submits
his report of remissions, errors etc,
on 1910 roll, and. asks to be credited
with the sum of $308.12, and the
court not being fully advised in the
matter, it is ordered that same be
continued.
Matter of remission of tax of Beaver
Logging Co. & the Weber Co.
On this day this matter coming
on for consideration, and the court
being advised, it is ordered that
Beaver Logging Company be allow
ed remission in the sum of $17.29
penalty and interest on Sheriff's
assessment, and that The Weber
Company be allowed remission in
the sum of $14.74, penalty and int
erest on last half payment of 1910
tax, on account of error in mailing
receipt to The Weber Company for
first half payment.
Matter of petition of Phillip Stein
for refund of taxes paid for
year 1904.
On this day this matter comes on
for consideration, and the court not
being fully advised in the premises,
it is ordered by the court that said
petition be, and the same is hereby
continued.
Matter of deed for county road.
On this 8th day of December, 1911
it is ordered by the court that cer
tain deeds from Louis Burkhard et,
ux., A. Neer et. ux. and from Will
iam Link, forever dedicating to he
public a strip of land for road pur
poses, be, and they are hereby ap
proved, and the Clerk is hereby in
structed to record said deeds in the
Public Deed records.
Matter of claims against the county.
On this 8th day of December, 1911
claims against the county as docketed
in the general fund, and in the
General Road Fund, claim and warr.
ant registers were audited by the
court, and allowed in the sums as
carried out on said registers, being
as follows:
