Bread Griddle Cakes.
One and one-half cups flour, one cup
stale bread crumbs, three teaapoons
baking powder, one teaspoon salt, two
tablespoons sugar, one-half cup boil
ing w ater, three-quarter cup milk, one

melted butter. Add boiling water to
the bread crumb and let stand live
minute. Add the milk, lift together
