The ball game Sunday at the home
gronndt, between St. Helena and Felicia
was a very good and close contest, with
the exception of the first two innings,
but the Felida boys got 'OJ big a start at
the outset for the home team to stand
any chance of catching up. There is
plenty ol good material here for a team,
but it will never amount to anything
until the practice of picking up new
players every game is abandoned. Men
must practice together frequently in
order to be able to do good work. Next
Sunday there will I a game between the
St. Helens Juniors and the Highland
school of Portland. Kvervbody is in
vited to attend and to contribute little
tor expenses.
We are incorporated. Our directors
are Judge Dart, Sheriff White, Dr. Rots
and Wm. M. Ross.

The trouble is caused by the shifting
channel exposing oltl susgs that have
been covered up for years.
We are fully insured against holdups,
robbers and burglars.
