Levy a Special Tax of
1 1-2 Mills.
I'urtuant to a call the taxpayer of
Road Dittrict No. 3 met at tbe county
court room on Saturday last at 2 p. m.
Tbe meeting waa call led to order by
Supervtaor Faxoo and Mr. llarriton wa
elected secretary.
The following, on the motion of Dr.
H. R. Cliff, waa adopted aa the aense ol
the meeting:
That there be a one and one half
milt tax levied on the property of the
district, to be expended a follow, all
work to be done by contract:
The wu of (2,000 to be expended on
what i known as tbe Bachelor Flat road,
commencing at Mr. ' Baker, at the
junction ol the said road with tbe main
road at Houlton, and extending to the
juncture of aaid road at the Nelson place,
The um ol 500 to be utcd on what ia
known aa the "Millard road," commenc
ing at the Northern Pacific crossing aud
continuing wet to the junction with the
Bachelor Flat road.

the Walter house at Si. Helens west to
