The Strathshire, tramp steomer,
sister to the Strathclydo, arrived at
the C C. Wilson's dock Wednesday.
She will take on about 3.500.000 feet of
lumber, part of her load at Linnton,

The Rainier band is practicing two
evenings a week and making good in the
line of music The improvement they
have achieved in the past few weeks is
more than could have been expected.
Misses M. E. and L. L. Nutt sisters
of the Nutt Bros, of this city, arrived
in Rainier Monday morning from Min-
nesota,and with their mother who. came
about three weeks ago will make this
their future home. The Nutt Bros.
have secured rooms on the second floor
in the new Dibblee building, and will
be at home to their friends after June
1st
