Mr. V. H. Powell delivered the prin
cipal address at the Republican meeting
at Warren on Tuesday evening last. It
was devoted principally to local affair,
and was a most complete and convincing
argument in defense ol the Republican
record and in (avor of the election of the
entire Redublicati ticket. Mr. Powell

The prohibitionists and temperance fanatics of Oregon, being unable to carry the State
for Prohibition by ordinary means, have dressed up a radical prohibition law, have labeled
it "Local Option," and will submit it in this disguise to the voters in Oregon at the election
in June. Vote against it.
