The last number of the Exposition, a
mag"xin devoted lo the Iwis A Clark
Centennial and the manufacturing in
dustries of the northwest, has been re
ceived nt this office. It is edited by
Mr. Edytb Toeier Weatherred, and the
last issue ia a Columbia county number
gotten np by that well known veteran
newspaper man, A. Noltner. It is well
written, and contains numerous illus
trations of Columbia comity town and
woodworking manufacturing enterprises.
Two of St. Helens leading physicians
are ciedited with conducting a meat
market, but thia is very likely a typo
grapliicl error. The picture of the St.
Helena school building should have
been accredited to J. J. Englert, of this
city instead of Ford. A mark in one
corner is sufficient evidence that the cut
was made from a photograph taken by
Mr. Englert for the writer and printed
