When the timber Is cut off the many
tracts, the prosperity of Columbia
County will not cease. It will be fol

produce thrifty Umber, and when once
the saw timber Is out of the way the
remainder will find ready sale for
wood. The tracts will be sold at low
prices, for the lumberman will not pay
taxes on land which ta bringing him
no revenue. This land will produce
and cereal . crops.
When cleared of the stumps these
lands will make the moat productive
of farms, and the area devoted to
dairying and fruit raising will be vast

the advantage over many other coun

the warm ocean currents.

The Sasne Old Story.
J. A'. Kelly relates an experience
similar to that which has happened in
almost every neighborhood in the United
States and has been told and re-told by
thousands of others. He says: "Last
summer I had an attack of dysentery
and purchased a bottle of Chamberlain's
uoiic, ciiolers and Diarrhoea ttemedy.
which I need according to directions and
with satisfactory results. The trouble
was controlled much quicker than tne
former attacks when I used other rem
