It is with saddened thoughts that
we note the sudden desth of W. H.
Walker, whioh ocourred in Portland on
the 19th intt. Mr. Walker had been
feeling unuaually well and was at
work in the field when he waa sud
denly stricken down by a paralytio
stroke whioh rendered him helpless.
He was at onoe taken to Portland for
medical aid where he died soon after
arriving at the hospital. The burial
took putoe at Woodbine cemetery on
Friday, the 21st, and waa followed by
many frienda. Mr. Walker baa lived
here for many years past and was
a highly respected oitisen. He leaves
a widow and several children who
