Deming Druggist Mucklo Itldg., Strand New Route and Schedule for Steamer America FREIGHT AND PASSENGER SERVICE On account of lack of business, the Steamer Iralda has been withdrawn from the Portland St. Helens Rainier route. The steamer America will continue the run from St Helens to Portland but via the Columbia River route instead of the Willamette Slough route as heretofore. THE NEW SCHEDULE leaves Kt. Helena 7:00 A. M. for Portland and Way Points, via Columbia River. I .caves IN.rtl.unl 2:30 P. M. for St. Helens and Way Points Arriving: St. Helens 5:00 P. M. On Sunday the steamer leaves Portland for St. Helens at 11:30 A.M. We have arranged this schedule to accommodate the shippers and passenger traffic. With the days getting longer, it does not require much effort to get up a little early and have an enjoyable boat ride to Portland and be back in St Helens at 5 o'clock in the afternoon and at a lesser cost than by bus or rail. This schedule should also appeal to the St. Helens mer chants for they can receive their supplies late in the afternoon or early the following morning. - We are asking the patronage and co-operation of the public in this venture and assure them of the same depend able service which we have given for the past twenty years. We will do everything in our power to accommodate our pa trons and maintain a service that seems absolutely necessary. We can only do this by having your patronage.
