DAVID McK. WILSON,
Here It Is-THE NEW VELIE SIX
You must see the car to appreciate the striking beauty
of this new, Stranght line, High Cowl Body Design,
Distinctive Radiator and Hood, Bevel-Border Fen
ders, Octagonal Lamps. And you must try the car
to know what the sensational new Velie-Continental
motor means. This is the first mention of a new
type power plant. Burns low grade fuel. Has more
responsive power, more speed, no vibration, no noise.
Costs less to run.
The secret is out. The work of foremost Velie
engineers, and the creation of the famous Velie body
builders is now on public display. You will want to
see it. Auomobile men dealers, and the motoring
public are taking the first oportunity for a view.
For no such distinguished model of the Light Six has
ever come into the market before.
First as to Style. Different yes ! It is the differ
ence that gives an entirely new expression to familiar
charms. It is the difference that makes it the car of
today and tomorrow.
Here in symmetrical, harmonious, "mirror-like
planes you see how the creative idea has set a higher
standard of body art. Here is the authoritative style
a thing that was certain to come. It comes first in
the Velie.
There are five models in the line send a card for
further details.
Light Six, $1735
Immediate Delivery
For your comfort and enjoyment the body is lonfer.
It has a roomy sweep that is irresistible. It has really
broad doors more room in the deep tilted seats and
soft plaited upholstery more leg room for the driver.
, For your convenience, there are ample storage
places in seats and doors for everything you carry.
Some new ideas here also.
Then that motor. Truly a sensation in engineering.
All that has been gained in the science of The
Automobile Motor in the last four years has been con
centrated in this amazing power plant. You will
want to try it out to see how the problem of getting
the highest grade of power out of low grade fuel has
actually been solved. A world of energy silent
instantly responsive to any degree smooth as velvet
And a big saving in fuel cost.
How this has all been worked out by larger valves,
better combustion, operation perfectly balanced you
will sec when you go over the car.
Every mechanical feature the kind that ought to go
with a car like this. Improved Timken Axles and
Bearing, Borg & Beck Clutch, Bijur Starting and
Lighting, long underslung springs everything.
Here then is the pattern car that leads off the Light
Six style procession for 1920 that sets the pace in
the newer engineering that motorists demand today.
We want you to see and judge for yourself.
