holding elective state and county of
fices In the state. In the election two
years ago there were only 146 women
elected to office. The only classes of
office remaining in Kansas that have
not been "invaded" by the women
are those of sheriff and county at
torney. There are more than 10U
women lawyers who are eligible to

has ever run for this office.
