You are hereby notified that pur
suant to said resolution and the pro
vlsiona of the Charter of the City of
Bt. Helena, Oregon, that you may

Whereas, the Common Council of
the City of St. Helens, Oregon, deem
ing It expedient to Improve all that
portion of Winter street In said City,
lying between Its Intersection with
Bt. Helens Street and its intersection
with Plymouth Street, In aald City,
by grading the same to a width or
sixteen feet along the center line
thereof, and covering the same with a
proper dressing of crushed rock.
And Whereas, the engineer of
said City on the 17th day of Febru
ary, 1919, at the request of said
Council, filed in the office of the
City Recorder of said City, plans
specifications and estimates of th-;
probable cost of such an Improve
ment of said portion of aald Winter
Street, the estimate of which said
cost being 12713.68.
And Whereas, said Common Coun
cil having examined aald plans, speci
fications and estimates, finds the
same to be satisfactory In all parti
culars without making any changes
therein;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, by
the Common Council of the City of
Bt. Helens, Oregon, that all of Win
ter Street, above described, be Im
proved by grading the same to a
width ot sixteen feet along the center
of said street and covering the same
with crushed rock to a suitable depth
and width, according to the estab
lished grade and the plans and
specifications of the City Engineer on
file In the office of the recorder of
said City; and said Common Council
hereby declares Its Intention, and It
Is Its Intention, to ao Improve said
street; and .
Be It Further Resolved, That the
Common Council of said City adopt
said plana, specifications rnd esti
mates of the probable cost of said
Improvement, which probable cost, ai
shown by said engineer's estimate Is
the sum ot 12713.68.
And Be It Further Resolved, That
the cost of said Improvement be
levied upon and assessed against all
the lots and parts of lots and parcels
ot land specially benefited by such
improvement, as required r.nd direct
ed by the charter ot said City; and It
Is hereby determined r.nd declared
thnt all the lots, parts of lots and
parcels of land specially benefited,
directly or indirectly are those here
in below particularly desc.ibed, to
wlt: Lots 1 to 11, bcth Inclusive, in
