scribed and upon which he resides
and maintains a residence are not
reached conveniently, or in fact at
all, by any public road provided by
law and that It Is neceHsary that the
public and said petitioner, the owner
of said lands and residence, Joseph

egresB from his said lands and resi
dence, and that It will accordingly be
necessary In laying out a suitable
public road or gateway, as the case
may be, to cross the lands of one

ought and should be granted;
