worked to good advantage in the
building of good roads and streets,
and of benefit to a number of nnnnln

paving blocks, of Oregon stone. These
stone blocks have proved themselves,
in all cases, to be superior to every
other in point of wear, outlasting all
otlier paving, enduring more than
three times as long as the bonded

have to bo renewed every few yearsT

center and wooden tilocks on the
Bides. It makes tho Ideal street for
all classes of traffic, under all w a
ther conditions, nnd they aro both
Oregon products, nnd arc tho cheap
est In the end.
One of tho reasons that stone I
not moro used In Oregon Is because
It Is rcn on a narrow margin of
profit, rnd It., makers can r.ot afford
tho advertising cumpalgns that the
patent pnvlng concerns employ, nor
biro boosters to boost for their pav
