by said Common Council, establish
ing said Sewer District No. 8 and

AND WHEREAS, said appraisers
have duly porformod all the duties
devolving upon them In rotation to
said sower, sower dlttfrlct and the
assessment of the costs of said Im
provement; and the notice to proper
ty owners, aud all notices required
by the Charter of said City, or other
wise, having been given ; and all and
singular the provisions and necoss
ary stops required by the said Char
ter and by Ordinance, having been
performed and done;
AND WHEREAS, under the Char
tar of said City and said Ordinance
No. 161. It la required and directed
that the cost of such Improvement
shall fall upon the real property In
said Sewer District, above described,
and be equitably apportioned among
all the real estate owners In said
Sewer District, estmated upon the
last preceding assessment of real
estate only, and not upon the Im
provements thereon; and said appor
tionment and assessment having
been duly made and reported to the
Recorder of said City;
NOW THEREFORE, In accord
ance with the provlsons of said Char
City of St. Helons doos ordain as
follows:

which are as follows, towlt: Begin
ning at tho intersection of tho south
line of Willamette street with the
east lino of Winter street, in St. Hel
ens, Oregon, and running thence
westerly along the south lino of
Willamette street 600 foet to the
center of Hemlock street; thence
northerly on the center line of Hem
lock stieet 196 feet; thonce westerly
140 feet to the corner of Lots 2, 3,
20 and 21, In Block 60; thence
southerly along the center line of
said Block, 68 feet; thenco wosterly
and parallel with Willamotte street
140 feet to the center of Walla
Walla street; thence northerly on
the center line of Walla Walla street
