There are people- in the various sections of the county who will ridicule the list of mistakes we have enumerated and say that most of them were al.solutely right and that the only mistake made hy the Court was hecause they did not put. in addition to the $-'00,000 hon.l money, all the lax money on the road from Tide Creek to Clatsop Count v and let all the other roads in the county go without any money or work. There are perhaps others who will say that the money to he used on the Pittshurg road is a waste and that the road is unnecessary, while others will say the same thing about the Clatskanie-Mist road. I'.very body will have his own ideas about the mis takes the 'Court has made ami is making but through it all there is evidence on every hand that the three men composing the County Court have acted as their best judgment dic tated and, to their mind, according to ihe directions of the people and for (he be-4 in terests of the county as a whole. There is no just cause for such an uprising and sectional feeling as is now manifest in the county, and it is to be hoped that the level headed, interested tax paying citizens will not lend encouragement to such an unwarranted and unjust affair. flour : I Has Advanced I We have not raised our price.
