I County Court Proceedings . Wednesday, June 3rtl, 1014. .Kill Judicial Hot Co urt came pursuant to adjourn ment. Officers all present. Due proclamation being made, the folowing proceedings wore had. In the matter of the claim of J. J. llavlik for Indemnity for slaughtered cattle. On thts 3rd day of June. 1914. cornea on for hearing the claim of J. J. llavlik, of Scappoose,. Oregon, for indemnity in the sum of Fifty and 00-100 Dollars, for two grade jersey cows over two years old, slaughtered by the State Live Stock Sanitary Hoard, under chapter 14, General Laws of 1913, and It appearing to the Court from the ceritlcates and affidavits on Die relating thereto, that said animals were slaughtered on the 3rd day of April, 1914, In Portland. Oregon, at the slaugnter house of Frank L. Smith, and that said clai mant has complied with all thep ro vi sions of said chapter 14, General Laws of 1913. It s therefore order ed by the Court that said claim be, and the same Is hereby allowed. It is further ordered by the Court that the Clerk be, and he is hereby authorized and instructed to issue a general fund warrant in the sum of $25.00, In favor of said J. J. llavlik. being ODe-half of said sum so allowed as indemnity. It Is further ordered by the Court that the Clerk prepare and transmit to the Secretary of State, a certified copy of this order. Matter of Bids for steel vault fix tures. On this day this matter coming on for consideration for furnishing 112 roller shelves and 9S document files, a cor ding to plans and specifications on file, bids for furnishing same, in stalled in the vault in the office of the County Clerk, were opened and exam ined, being as follows: Kilham Stationery & Printing Co., for the sum of $420.00. Pacific Stationery & Printing Co., for the sum of $403.50. Bushong & Co., for the sum of $374.90. Glass & Prudhomme Co., for the sum of $360.00. And it apearing to the Court that the bid of Glass & Prudhomme Com pany is the lowest and best bid, it Is ordered by the Court that an order be placed with Glass & Prudhomme Company for said steel fixtures. Matter of Potition of D. M. Rohiu ette, et. al. for change of County Road : On this 3rd day of June, 1914. comes on for hearing the petition of D. M. Roblnotte. et. al, freeholders, residing In the road districts of suid proposed change, praying for n change in the D. M. Roblnotte Komi, described as follows: Beginning at a stake marked "A" sot 100 feet west of the Township line between Townships 5 N R 1 west and Township 5 N H 2 west mid where said Township lino crosses t lie .present Yankton County Road near the steel bridge across Milton Creek and near the rosidence of John Iluber thence running In a Northeasterly course on the most practcal route 20 rods more or less, to and terminating at a stake marked "H" set on said above mentioned Township lino, nud to vacate all that portion of said Robinette County Road which the above proposed change of road takes the place of. Said proposed change of rood to be forty feet in width. And It satisfactorily appearing to the Court from proof filed herein, that duo notice of the pendency of this proceeding has beer, gven, ns by law required, that twelve of said poll Honors are legal freeholders of this county, residing in the road district or dlsficts of the proposed road, and that a good and sufficient bond has been given and filed herein; It is therefore ordered by the Court that the Board of County Road View ers meet at said steel bridge on '.he Yankton road, on the 15th day of Juno, 1914, or on their failure to meet on said day, then within Ave days thereafter, and proceed to voiw, survey and locate said proposed change of road.
