About three years ago Mr. H. F.
McCormick, the manager of the St.
Helens Lumber Co., built this
modern residence, and has occupied
it as his home ever since. The lo
cation was chosen with especial care
no that a magnificent view of the
Columbia river and tha mountain
would be visible from the commodi
ous front porch. Also the resi
dence commands a full view of the
large saw mill and docks of the
Lumber Co. The house is modern
in every detail and most artistically
arranged. Kvery piece of lumber
in the building was taken from
Columbia county forests and manu
factured at the mills in St. Helens.
It is truly a Columbia County,
Oregon, product, and one of tln
most beautiful of the Rt.'Weletis
residences.
