RULES THAT GOVERN CONTEST
Any lady, (married or single) between the age of i.j
and 40 years, residing in Columbia County is eligi
ble to compete.
The Contest manager reserves the right to reject
any nomination for candidacy without the assign
ment of reason for doing so.

Candidates are not confined to work in the districts
in which they reside. Subscriptions may be taken
anywhere. Standing of candidates will be shown
each week. The Contest manager will not be re
sponsible for errors in publishing of votes except to
make correction in following issue.
In case of two candidates in same district Ueing,
each one doing so will be awarded a tiip.
Should two or more people nominate the candi
date polling the highest number of votes the special
prize will be awarded to the one received at this
office first- The candidates in each district polling
the highest number of votes will be awarded the
Tree Prize Trips.
