of Jay 1J. Upton against L. a Combe,
for the turn of one .hundred thirty-nine
and 15-100 dollar, with interest thereon
from the 30ti day of Januaiy, 1913, at
the rate of 6 per cent per annum, and

lara coeta together with, costs of and
upon thia writ commanding me to tell
the following detrribed real property
to-wit:
Beginning at the northerly corner of
that certain half acre tract of land for
merly owned by A. H. Matthews and
Katie Matthews in Section 4, Township
4 N. Range, West Willamette Meridian
in the Susan Frantz Donation Land
Claim, at wbicn point the weaterly line
of J. A. J. Campbell's tract of land in
teraecta the toutherly line of the county
road; thence southerly along the bound
ary between laid Campbell's , and
Matthew's tracts of land 94 feet, thence
westerly at right angles to the line last
above described 40 feet ; thence northerly
to the southerly boundary line of said
county road 60 feet from the point of
beginning; thence easterly 60 feet along
the south line- of said county road to
place of .beginning. Said land having
been conveyed by A. II. Matthews and
Katie Matthews to L. H. Combs on
September 14,1 09, by deed recorded in
book 11, page 445, record of deeds for
Columbia County, Oregon, said land
being situated in said county of said
state.
7 Now, therefore, by virtue of said exe
cution and in compliance with the com
mands of same, I will, on Saturday,
the 12th day of July. 1913, at the hour
of 10 o'clock a. m., at the front steps of
the court house in St. Helens, Columbia
County, Oregon, sell at public auction,
subject to redemption, to the highest
bidder for cash in hand, all the right,
title and interest which the above named
defendant bad on the 8th day of April,
1913, or since had in and to the above
described real property to satisfy said
execution, interest, costs and accruing
coats, leu the sum of $30, which said
L. H. Combs has paid on above since
issuance of execution.
