submitted to thelejral voters thereof
the question whether nil that said
described portion of Columbia
County, State of Oregon, should be
incorporated as the city of Coble,
under and pursuant to the pro
visions of that certain act of the
Legislative Assembly of the State
of Oregon, passed at its regular
session held in 1913, entitled "An
ct to provide for the organization
and incorporation of cities ami
towns and to legalize such corpor
ations as heretofore have attempted
to be incorporated under Chapter 1
of Title XXVI of Lord's Oregon
Laws are now exercising the
functions of incorporated cities and
towns under such attempted incor
poration; and
Whereas, at such election so held
36 votes were cast in favor of such
incorporation, and no votes were
cast against such incorporation; and
Whereas, the incorporation of
such city of Coble received the
atiirmntive vote of the majority cast
at such election; now, therefore,
the County Court of Columbia
County, State of Oregon, as above
described, has been duly and legally
incorporated as a municipal corpor
ation, under the corporate name of
the City of Coble, under and pur
suant to and w ith the powers vested
in such corporation by virtue of
chapters 2, 3 and 4 of Title XXVI
of Lord's Oregon Iws.
It i.' further ordered by the court
that on the 30th day of June. 1913,
at the pollinr p ae in said city of
Goble, and within the afore de
scribed boundaries, an election be
held for electing the following
named ntlieers: A Mayor, six al
dermen, a recorder, a Marshal and
a Treasurer, which election shall be
held at eight o'clock in the morn
ing and shall continue until seven
in the afternoon of said day.
It is further ordered by the court
that the following named persons
be and they are hereby appointed as
judges and clerks of said election:
Judges, J. T. McKiddy and Olive
D. Hunter.
Clerks, VV. E. Makinster, F.
Stuart and E. ISishop.
Whereupon, court adjourned un
til Wednesday. July 2. 1913.
