ens, in said county and state on
Wednesday, the 6th day of March,
1913, the same being the time fixed
by law for holding: a regular term

Matter of petition of E. J. Smith
et al for a county road.
On this 5th day of March, 1913,
comes on for hearing the petition of
E. J. Smith and seventeen others,
freeholders residing in the road dis
trict or districts of said proposed
road, praying for the establishment'
of a county road, described as fol
lows: Beginning at a post marked
"A" in the center of the north end
of West street, Scappoose, Oregon;
thence running north 299 feet to a
post marked "B"; theme in a north
westerly direction 675 feet more or
less to a stake marked "C" on the
west bank of the south fork of the
Scappoose Creek, be ng the east
corner between tracts 14 and 15 of
the Holaday Orchard Tracts; 907.C1
- feet to an Iron pin marked "D", be
ing 27.61 feet north wt from the
corner of tracts 26, 27, 31 and 32 of
the Holaday Orchard Tracts; thence
831 feet west to a stake -marked
"E" being 10 fett west of the we.it
corner, between tracts 29 and 30 o;
the Holaday Orchard Tracts; thence
north 660 feet to a stake marked
"F" being 10 feet west of the north
west corner of section 12, thence
north 876 feet to the line between
H. Schmidt and the Hegele lands;
thence in a westerly dirc-ction alonr
the line of said Hegele land 1800
feet to the southwest crner of the
