Seven students attending O.T.I, under the Klamath Kducation Program received their diplomas in graduation ceremonies held on the Oi l campus June 2. Those graduating were: William Har ficld, Hody ami h'ender ; I'inley Harney. Queried on their plans follow ing graduation, William Harfield Irwin Crume On O.T.I. Honor Roll Irwin Crume, who graduated from OT1 n June 2 under the Klamath Kducation Program, was on the OTI honor toll for spring term. Irwin, an Auto Mechanics student, had a TOO or straight A average for the term. O.T.I. To Discontinue Two Courses As of the end of the past school year two courses, linking and Watchmaking, have hern dis continued indefinitely at O.T.I. In addition, the sports equipment course will not he offered during the 1957-58 school year hut will he resumed in September 158. and Alton Thompson indicated that they will seek employment in their respective fields in the San Kraucisco area through the relocation program. Clarence Courtney intends to either take a job in Sanitation Kninecrinjj or receive more training in the field at Oregon State College. Finlcy Harney will do advanced study in the commercial art field during the coming school year at Advertising Art School in. Port land. Kucne Keane is also in terested in further training and has enrolled for summer school at Northwest Technical Institute in Portland, where he is taking Heavy Kuipment Operation. Nancy Ocntry and Irwin Crume are as yet undecided on their post- graduation plans. K. Hatcher To Resign, To Resume Training Karen Hatcher, who has been rendering the Klamath Kducation Program efficient service during the past year as a Clerk Steno grapher I. will resign from the Program effective July 1. She plans to resume her training at Northwestern School of Com merce in Portland, where she has already completed a nine months course in Junior Accounting. She intends to enroll in the Personal Secretarial Course, and will be gin classes Julv 15. FORTY-FOUR STUDENTS UNDER KLAMATH ED. PROGRAM COMPLETE SCHOOL YEAR Forty-four students under the Klamtah Kducation Program recently completed the 1956-57 school year at various vocational schools and colleges throughout the State.
