Donovan, charged with violat ing speed laws of the city, was arraigned before J udge Denman this morning. He pleaded guilty and was fined $25. On Saturday Donovan . indicated that he might fight, the case and he was rather insistent in his statements that the arrest was an outrage. He felt that his voluntary return here and final pleading entailed him to consideration, but Judge Deman has the idea- that he is going to convince careless people that it is better not, to violate ordinances.
