Continued from page 5
Enders and Irie Searcy all received
honorable mention.
Golf
Gregg Lavoie was awarded All
America honorable mention by the
Golf Coaches Association of America.
Lavoie earned the award based
on his play at the NCAA Champi
onships June 1-4, where he tied for
24th with a nine-over par.
“I’m very pleased for Gregg,”
Oregon coach Steve Nosier said to
goducks.com. “He really dedicated
himself to his golf game during the
spring and he was rewarded for
his efforts.”
Teammate Chris Dukeminier was
named to the All-Academic first
team, only the second Duck to earn
that honor.
Dukeminier, who holds a 3.43
GPA, joins J.J. Astorquia (1995 and
1997) as a first-team selection.
Eric Hastings and Jay
