Celebrating convocation
Left Raymond Diamond, a professor of law at Tulane Law School in New Orleans, was the keynote speaker at
the Brown v. Board of Education celebration, held in the EMU Ballroom on Monday. He discussed the
significance of the decision, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The court case forced schools ail over
the country to allow students of all colors to enroll. Above: University President Dave Frohnmayer also spoke at
the event. Below: University Gospel singers Cari Peck and Justin Medlen sang during the ceremony.
