Kelly O’ Brien
The policies and practices of the University
Bookstore have a profound effect on each
student at the U of O. My experience as the
ASUO Marketing intern for the past two terms
has given me an inside look at how to positively
affect students on campus. I am also currently
serving on the International Career Networking
Committee, which has enhanced my leadership
and communication skills when interacting with all
types of people. If elected, I will work to make the
Bookstore more accessible to all students and to
create new ways to reach out to the student body.
Vote Kelly O'Brien for UO Bookstore Board of
Directors Sophomore Seat (two year term)!
Jeremy Robertson
I won't let you down. Vote for me and you'll be set.
Thanks a lot. I'm looking forward to the election.
See you later.
Shannon Tarvin
In my past leadership experience I have found that
it is imperative to have as much communication
with your constituency as possible. The most
obvious reason is so that you know who it is you
represent and what it is that they want. The other
purpose is to let them know about what you do
and how it affects them. As the Campus Outreach
Coordinator for the ASUO this past year, my whole
purpose was to educate and inform so that the
campaigns I worked on were both widely
and deeply felt on campus. It is my desire to
- continue to work for students and I feel that the
Bookstore Board provides and excellent
opportunity to do so. I feel that my work here at the
University and even before have given me the skills
needed to be effective on this board, that is why I
ask you to cast a vote next to my name, Shannon
Tarvin.
Dennis Worden
I think people should consider me as a candidate
for this position because although I have never
worked in a position like this before, I have had
experience working with large groups of people to
accomplish tasks. I think me coming into this
position with no motives or expectations is good
for the board because it will let me make decisions
that I think are best for the bookstore, not just
achieving personal goals. It is for my unbiased
opinions of the position that people should
consider for my position.
Nicole Wickswat

OFFICER OF
ADMINISTRATION

Jennifer Creighton-Neiwert
After having spent time on the University Bookstore
Board, I have seen the University of Oregon Book
store undergo many changes. The next few years
will present opportunities for even more change and
growth. The Board needs members with vision and
experience.
I have and will work to ensure that the Bookstore
meets the needs of both students and staff. In my
position as the ASUO Accounting Coordinator, I
deal with students and staff from across campus on
a daily basis. My interactions with them will enable
me to represent the diverse opinions and needs that
exist within the campus community. I have enjoyed
the opportunity to use my skills and knowledge to
add to the Bookstore Board of Directors. Vote for
Jennifer Creighton-Neiwert for the Classified/Officer
of Administration position on the University of
Oregon Bookstore Board Of Directors.
