MEETING OF THE UNIVERSITY ASSEMBLY Time: 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Date: Friday, January 31 Place: 180 PLC At the request of the University Senate, President Frohnmayer has called a meeting of the University Assembly. The purpose of the meeting, as described in the Senate motion, is “to discuss the impending threat of military action in Iraq.” The meeting will be held in 180 PLC from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, January 31. We have arranged to have the meeting broadcast at the same time in 150 Columbia. This is an open meeting and will provide an opportunity for people to speak in a public forum on this topic.
