AmeriCorps is the national service program that provides community
service opportunities across the country. AmeriCorps members help
meet the nation's critical needs. Education is a major focus of many
AmeriCorps programs. Members have the opportunity to earn a
modest living allowance, health care, childcare benefits and an
education award at the end of their designated term of service.

energetic people. Camp Sealth is one the West Coast’s oldest and
largest resident camps, with 400 acres that include forests and

Sealth’s programs include summer resident camp, spring/fall
environmental education, and rentals to nonprofit groups. Camp
Sealth has a friendly staff and a great Pacific Northwest location.

The Fund runs a nationwide network ofgrassroots campaign offices.
We raise funds, build membership and run issue campaigns for
organizations like Greenpeace USA, the Sierra Club, the state
PIRGs and the Human Rights Campaign. Since 1982, Fund staff
have reiased over $200 for progressive nonprofits and helped win
legislative victories on issues like clean air, forest preservation, and
recycling.
Camp Cleawox is located near Florence, Oregon on a beautiful
freshwater lake. Surrounded by forest and dunes campers enjoy
archery, swimming, boating, arts, crafts, horseback riding, nature
activities, and numerous other activities. The Girl Scout of Western
Rivers Council run this exciting camp to enable girls to grow strong
through positive camp experience. Girl Scouts is the world's
preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls.
The INROADS objective is to ensure that students understand the
business environment and are prepared to contribute immediately
upon graduating from college and upon entering Corporate America.
More than 900 companies nationwide sponsor INROADS college
interns. Participating corporations provide summer work experience,
and INROADS provides year-round advising, training and tutoring for
intern participants. INROADS enforces high academic and job
performance standards.

include commercial, non-commercial radio, and television stations.

The Peace Corps is a U.S. Government Agency founded in 1961- -
with the mission of promoting world peace. Peace Corps Volunteers
contribute to the social, economic, and human development of
interested countries; promote a better understanding of Americans
among the people served; and strengthen Americans' understanding
of the world's peoples. Volunteers help change and improve the
human condition at the grass-roots level - making a real difference in
real people's lives.
Teach For America islhe national corps of outstanding and diverse
recent college graduates who commit two years to teach in under
resourced urban and rural public schools. Over the past 11 years,
nearly 6,000 talented and dedicated individuals have joined Teach
For America to level the playing field for students in low-income
areas and to help build a movement to advance educational
opportunity. After the two year commitment, our alumni remain
advocates for equity in education through a variety of careers, some
remaining in education, others continuing their studies at top-notch
graduate schools, and still others working in a wide variety of fields
including business, medicine, law, public policy, and journalism.

and the State PIRGs. Also, hold news conferences, organize
coalitions, run petition and letter-writing drives. Generally raise hell.

We train for professional positions in the air transportation industry. The program prepares candidates for federal certification as
pilots and maintenance technician/professional transfer program.
Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education provide exceptional programs in the following departments: Teacher Education,
Counseling Psychology, School Counseling and Educational Administration. Small inquiry based learning communities and close
interactions with faculty provide the foundation for all courses.
The professional program at Oregon State University’s College of Pharmacy is a four-year program leading to a doctor of pharmacy
(Pharm.D.) degree and licensure as a pharmacist. Students spend the first two years on the Corvallis Campus and the third year at
the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. The fourth year is spent in experiential clerkships in a variety of locations
throughout the state.
The PSU Master of International Management (MIM) graduate degree is designed for people who want to do business in Asia.
